Bruno Basalisco

Managing Economist – Service Leader for Digital Economy, Copenhagen Economics,

Bruno Basalisco leads the Copenhagen Economics Digital Economy service, focusing on network economics, innovation and regulation. He has worked on several projects in the communications industries on issues such as market definition, regulatory remedies, competition enforcement and impact assessment. Amongst these, he has worked on several projects assessing the impact of digital platforms in Europe and Asia and the regulatory provisions applicable to them.

Prior to joining Copenhagen Economics, Bruno worked in the UK in Ofcom’s Chief Economist Team. Bruno holds a PhD in Economics from Imperial College Business School, an MSc in Science and technology policy from SPRU - University of Sussex and an MA in Economics from Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Pisa.
