Chloé de Meulenaer

Former Development intern,

Chloé de Meulenaer is a Brussels-based Belgian citizen, and joined Bruegel in September 2018 as Development intern. She supports the Development team's work in membership acquisition, as well as private funding and public funding management.

She has academic training in political science and economics, acquired at Université Libre de Bruxelles. She then followed a Master in research in economics at the same institution, within the European Center for Advanced Research in Economics and Statistics (ECARES). Her master thesis studies the issue of capital taxation fairness, featuring a case study of the recent French reform of capital income and personal wealth taxation.

Chloé is a native French speaker, is fluent in English and Italian, and has a good understanding of Spanish.
