Christian Thimann
Member of the Executive Committee, AXA Group,
Christian Thimann is Group Head of Strategy, Sustainability and Public Affairs and a Member of the Executive Committee of the AXA Group, based in Paris.
He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Alliance Bernstein Investment Managers, New York, and of AXA-Investment Managers, Paris. He is an Affiliated Professor at the Paris School of Economics; and external member of the Council of Economic Advisers to the French Prime Minister.
Until 2013, he was Director General and Adviser to the President at the European Central Bank (ECB) in Frankfurt. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Munich.
