Dörte Höppner

Dörte leads Invest Europe, the association representing Europe’s private equity, venture capital and infrastructure sectors, as well as their investors. Dörte represents Invest Europe’s membership at the very highest levels of business and government and is a regular commentator in the international media on all aspects of the industry. Dörte joined Invest Europe in 2011 after spending four years as the Managing Director at the BVK, the German Private Equity Association where she played a leading role in the industry’s response to the Alternative Investment Fund Manager’s Directive. Before joining the BVK Dörte held the role of Communications Director at the German Institute for Economic Research (“DIW”), Germany’s leading economic think tank. Prior to DIW she worked as a journalist for ZDF, the German television channel.
