João Moreira Carvalho

João, Portuguese citizen, joined Bruegel in September of 2018 as the events intern. He holds a BA in communication, a MA in Cultural Studies and a MA in European Studies.

Prior to joining Bruegel, João interned at the European Economic and Social Committee where he worked with the Workers Group.  Being quite passionate about cinema, he has also done an intern at Cinemateca Portuguesa-Museu de Cinema where he worked with the library and museum archives.

He is a native Portuguese speaker and is fluent in English and Spanish. He is also learning Dutch.
