Takatoshi Ito, professor at the Graduate School of Economics, University of Tokyo, has taught extensively both in the United States and Japan. He was a member of the Council on Economic and Fiscal Policy in Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's government in Japan and a professor at the Institute of Economic Research at Hitotsubashi University in Japan.
