China’s quest for innovation is undeniable, with very large human and financial resources devoted to moving up the ladder in manufacturing, but also in emerging technologies. In this seminar we look into China’s achievements, but also the challenges. We will share new research on where China - but also the United States and the Euopean Union - stand in key technologies, namely artificial intelligence, semiconductors and quantum computing, and we will also discuss key takeaways for Europe.
