Mergers and innovation
At this closed-door, off-the-record event we will discuss the impact that mergers have on innovation.
How do mergers impact innovation? Mergers lead to higher market concentration, but they also may impact the incentives and capacity to innovate, for the merged firms, but also for competing firms. What do we know about these innovation effects from mergers and how should they be treated in competition policy cases?
This event will take place from 11:00-12:30.
This off -the-record event is only open to Bruegel members and a small group of selected invitees.
