Asia Europe Economic Forum (AEEF)
The Asia Europe Economic Forum (AEEF), established in 2006, is a high-level forum which brings together Asian and European policymakers and experts.
With a growing recognition for the need to diversify and consolidate the linkage between economists and practitioners from Asia and Europe, five institutions from Asia and Europe agreed in 2006 to establish an Asia Europe Economic Forum (AEEF) to serve as a high level forum, giving Asian and European policy experts an occasion for in-depth research-based exchanges on global issues of mutual interest. Today, the list extends to seven partners.
Participants to those previous editions include former and current high ranking officials, senior parliamentarians, central bank governors, prominent academics, and private sector economists.
This project was funded by the Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) in Singapore and Bertelsmann Stiftung.
