Andreas Esche

Director Programe Megatrends, Bertelsmann Stiftung

Andreas Esche is Director of the Shaping Sustainable Economies Program and member of the Management Committee at the Bertelsmann Stiftung in Gütersloh. He joined the Bertelsmann Stiftung in 1996 and was responsible for the Economics and Social Policy department. He then headed the Bertelsmann Stiftung’s interdisciplinary Demographic Change Campaign from 2003 until 2008. Before joining the Stiftung, Andreas Esche was a Project Director at Prognos AG in Basel/Switzerland and worked as Senior Consultant at the Centre Européen d’Expertise en Evaluation in Lyon/France.

The Asia Europe Economic Forum (AEEF) was established in 2006 as a high level forum for in-depth research-based exchanges on global issues between Asian and European policy makers and experts. This year, the AEEF will be hosted by Bertelsmann Stiftung on 28-29 November, 2019 in Berlin, Germany, and it will focus on “EU-Asia trade and investment connectivity”.
