Chul Chung

Vice President, KIEP,

Chul Chung is Vice President of the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP). He is in charge of the Department of International Trade. He is Vice Chair of the Korea National Committee for Pacific Economic Cooperation (KOPEC) and Vice President of the Korean Association of Trade and Industry Studies.

Previously, he served as trade advisor to the Minister of Trade, Industry, and Energy as well as being a professor of international economics at the School of Economics at Georgia Tech.

His research has been mostly focused on international trade, economic geography, and regional economic integration. He received Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Michigan.
